Today Chelsea had her ballet recital depicting Belle from Beauty and the Beast. We were so proud how she really watched her dance teacher to help her remember her moves.

Flowers and Showers: Signs of Spring

So we were suppose to have pictures in the flowers, but the spring showers had a mind of their own. So this was the best that could be done. I think they turned out rather well, if I do say so myself.

Easter 2010

The Easter bunny came to our house!

We had an egg hunt at Mimi and Pops'. Notice Nathan's basket has as much eggs as Chelsea's. He was a real go-getter when it came to the eggs. I guess last week's practice hunt really paid off!

Little Bruiser, I mean brother

I don't know if it is because he is a boy or the second child, but he sure does get banged up a lot. It is usually not his sister's fault, but the wall's, floor, or those two left feet!

Happy Half Birthday to you!

Because a year is too long to wait to celebrate another birthday when you are 3 1/2! Chelsea is really growing up into a lovely young lady. Terrible twos have finally come to an end (it lasted for 2 years!). She loves her brother and enjoys playing with him. Her and I cook together and read lots of stories. Chelsea can spell her name and recognizes 23 out of 26 letters of the alphabet. On this day we celebrated with cupcakes, nail painting, and a prize from the store. Now begins the countdown until September 13th!

Livestock Show

Over Spring break, we went with Mimi, Pops, Aunt Dianne, cousin Madison, and Zoe to the livestock show. The weather was beautiful. We really had a great time.

Nathan was terrified of the tractors until Aunt Dianne showed him all the buttons! m
For some reason, my children are not too sure of animals. They have grown up with a dog and cat at Mimi's house, yet they do not care for others.
