Spring Pictures

Whoever had the great idea of small animals and children, must of been crazy. It was pure chaos. This was the best of them. Nathan would not smile, Chelsea was too entertained with the bunny, and the bunny was hopping all over.

Nathan's baptismal pictures. He is so handsome. I always say that Chelsea looks like me and Nathan looks more like me. Hey I carry them for nine months.

Nathan's Baptism

I am a little late in getting this out, but Nathan was baptized on March 15. His Godparents are good friends of ours, April and Thomas Roberts. Their son, Will, joined to watch his buddy on this big event.

Fuzzy

Chelsea: "It's Fuzzy on the computer! He's so silly."

Spring (Work) Break

Over spring break we did a lot of work around the house that included replacing light fixtures, gardening, and painting. Chelsea was the main helper amongst it all. Mark had a ladder, mask, and paint brush, so Chelsea rummaged around to find her own step stool, mask, and paint brush. In her own words "I'm a good helper Mommy."

My Precious Baby Boy

So Mark cannot stand these pajamas because he thinks they look too prissy; a pilgrim in his words. I love them. I know there will come a day when Nathan will not let me dress him this way but for now I will ... and will enjoy every minute of it.

P.S. I love to dress both kids the same. My mom did the same for my siblings and I. We hated it, but now I find it awfuly cute.

A Hunk of a Monk ... ey

Our little man is now six months old. He has made some major milestones this week. He can now sit for about a minute unassisted and has cut his first tooth (the second is almost through). We went to the doctor for his check up and he weighed in at 17 pounds and 4 ounces and 26.25 inches long. He is in the 50th percentile for each. He has a cold and an ear infection so we are now on antibiotics. The doctor suggested that since Nathan's skin is so sensitive (he gets skin irritations so easily), to use Tide free and clear detergent and Aveeno soap and lotion. I told Nathan that he is already high maintenance. He is going to end up with as many products as his Uncle Nic!
We are still trying to get him to eat baby food, but he is not interested at all (unless it is ice cream - thanks to Mimi). When I try to give him a bite, he closes his mouth tight. If I do manage to get a bite in, he gags and pushes his tongue out until most of the food is out. I gave him a few days rest from it thinking that with healing the ear infection and maybe maturing a little would help him, but nope. Although, I think he does not like eating from a spoon because he would suck it off my finger. It's amazing how they have a mind of their own.

Moose

I try not to compare Chelsea and Nathan, but it is hard not to when she is all I have had before him. He has been smaller than her except for at birth weight, but I am proud to say that we are finally at 17 pounds. He is becoming our little moose, hence the shirt. Way to grow Tater Tot!
